Overview



Situated in the heart of Songliao Plain, Changchun is the capital city of Jilin Province and also the second largest city next to Shenyang in northeast China.





After 9·18 Event, the last emperor of China, Puyi, with queen Wanrong, came to Changchun and founded the Puppet Manchu State with the aid of the Japanese invaders, thereupon leaving behind lots of relics, such as the Puppet Emperor's Palace.





Here also lies the Auto Town, Film City, Garden City and Sculpture Town of Changchun. Changying Century City, Jingyuetan and World Sculpture Park are resorts that tourists just can't miss.





Location: located in the middle of Songliao Plain, adjacent to Baicheng City in northwest, connected to Siping City in southwest and Jilin City in southeast, bordering Heilongjiang Province in northeast.
