Overview



Xining, the capital of Qinghai province of China, lies in the eastern part of Qinghai-Tibet plateau, and the upper reaches of Huangshui River.


As an ancient highland city and a major gateway to the Tibetan Plateau on the Yellow River, Xining once has been a necessary stop between East and West of Silk Road in ancient times, and here is a conjunct place that combines loess plateau and Tibetan Plateau, Han culture and Tibetan culture, etc.
