Overview



Yuncheng city is situated in the south of Shanxi Province. It covers an area of 14,236.5 square kilometers. Yuncheng was called as Hedong in the ancient. There is the famous Yellow River and Zhongtiao Mountain in Yuncheng city. Yuncheng also gets a very long history, it is one of the origins of Chinese nationality.



At present, there are Yuncheng City, Yongji County, Hejin City, Wenxi County, Xinjiang County, Ruicheng County, Linyi County, Wanrong County, Jishan County, Xia County, Jiang County, Pinglu County and Yuanqu County in the administration of Yuncheng City.
